Admission Requirements  

General requirements

Applicants to any of the SCS academic programs should have a bachelor's or master's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0. All international applicants must take the TOEFL exam and achieve a minimum score of 575 (paper-based exam) or 230 (computer-based exam).

In addition to these general requirements, there are further requirements associated with each of the academic programs offered by SCS as follows

Bioinformatics Ph.D.
Computational Sciences and Informatics Ph.D.
Bioinformatics M.S.
Computational Science M.S.
Earth Systems Science M.S.
Computational Techniques and Applications Certificate
Nondegree Status

 

Applications should be received by March 1 for Fall Semester and November 1 for Spring Semester. Applications requesting support must be received by February 1 for the Fall semester.
