Most of these will involve presentations in class.

  • Feb 3:
    Describe two articles in statistics literature that report Monte Carlo studies
  • Feb 10:
    Design a plan to replicate and extend one of the studies
  • Feb 17:
    Feasibility study -- software, etc.

    Conduct study, write report

  • Mar 31:
    Web page report (in class)
  • Apr 14:
    Review and critique a fellow student's paper

    Revise paper based on review

  • Apr 28:
    Final report on Web, class presentations

    Project will be graded on

  • design and conduct of the study
  • written report
  • presentation
  • critique of fellow student's draft report
