Using IMSL on science.

1) from a c-shell, type
     source /usr/local/vni/ipt/bin/iptsetup.csh

   from a Bourne or Korn shell, type

     source /usr/local/vni/ipt/bin/ipsetup.sh

2) look at the contents of
$VNI_DIR/notes/cnl/README
or
$VNI_DIR/notes/fnl/README

3) look at examples of programs and the Makefile in
$VNI_DIR/examples/cnl/
$VNI_DIR/examples/fnl/

For C, you will need to edit the Makefile and add a '-o32' option
to the 'cc' command lines.

4) access the documentation by typing

    iptdoc

The libraries are libimslcmath for C
           and    libimslfmath for Fortran


Using PV-Wave

1) from a c-shell, type 
source /usr/local/vni/wave/bin/wvsetup

2) type
    wave
